Bronco Raptor News

Discuss new updates and news about the all new Ford Bronco Raptor here.
So far, so good in the real world for Stellantis, as the Blue Oval rival has not yet moved to crash their Moab party with yet another posse of customized Broncos like they did last year. Perhaps they will settle for little marketing tricks with the 2022 Bronco Raptor, like showing the cockpit animations and avatars or sending VIN 001 at auction for a noble cause. But that does not mean the virtual automotive artists have to settle down and forget about the hype surrounding the reinvented, sixth-generation Ford Bronco and its recent derivatives. Alongside the 2022 Everglades (starting at an MSRP of $53k), the 2022 Bronco Raptor (a rather steep $68,500 affair) sits at the top of the series’ roster with an exclusive four-door body...
Back in January, Ford revealed the 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor and Ford Motor Company has stated that the majority of the 2022 models in production will go to existing reservation holders (Golden Ticket Holders) based on their reservation timestamp. The end of that month (January), Ford began reaching out to the holders and gauged their interest for the Bronco Raptor via email. But now the window for the "hand raisers" that want to order their BR closes after today (March 29th). Those that are interested in doing just that have to follow a few simple steps to complete the process. First, customers should use Ford’s build and price configurator to spec their Bronco Raptor before taking that info to their preferred Blue Oval dealer to...
Well, @Shaggy here you go on what you said that you were surprised it didn't go for more than $350k! The Ford Bronco Raptor is a pretty special truck. It's like a Lamborghini for the off-roader in your life. Loud, meant to be seen in, and capable of stunning feats for athleticism. So when we heard that the first-ever Bronco Raptor was hitting the auction block at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach, we knew it was going to bring money. After all, BJ has a history of auctioning off first production versions of cars for seven figures on a regular basis. In fact, we said, "someone was going to pay obscene money" for it. Well, someone has. To the tune of $350,000. Now that's neat and all, and we're very jealous of the new owner, but that's all...
After a 2 year break because of coronavirus pandemic, the New York International Auto Show has returned this year. Famous for some of the biggest unveilings in the US car market, the Big Apple’s motor show also gives the public the chance to see some freshly revealed European cars in the metal for the first time. This year, the show will feature a track for EV test drives, a micro-mobility area, a selection of supercars, hypercars and exclusive luxury vehicles, and a new automotive aftermarket experience. I won't go into detail on each of the vehicles, so if you like to see them go to New York International Auto Show The show takes place from 14 to 24 April. Here are some of the cars that have featured so far: Ford Bronco Raptor...
Money raised went to education and conservation The two new autos raised $1.35 million for charities at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach this past weekend! The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible and the Bronco Raptor were the first of their respective models built. The Z06 sold for $1 million to NASCAR team owner and car dealer Rick Hendrick. Hendrick's team runs Chevrolets in the NASCAR Cup Series and he often gives back through GM's charity auctions. In fact, in January he bought the first Z06 coupe for a Barret-Jackson charity record of $3.6 million, with all the proceeds going to Operation Homefront. The Z06 is a racing-inspired version of the Corvette with a 670 hp V8 that makes it the most powerful vehicle in...
As we all are aware, the Vin #1 of the Bronco Raptor will be auctioned off at the Palm Beach Barrett-Jackson event on Saturday, April 9th and the overall consensus is it is going to be for a HUGE amount! As of now, we don't know what the color will be but that will be determined by the buyer. That's kind of a cool way to do it. Best part about the sale is Ford will donate the amount to charity. Barrett-Jackson is going to waive all fees and commissions associated with the sale, ensuring every last cent goes to this cause. And that cause is twofold. The proceeds from the sale of this Ford Bronco Raptor will go to benefit the National Forest Foundation (NFF) and Outward Bound. The NFF helps with forest conservation across America...
The overall consensus of everyone that has had the chance to order the new Bronco Raptor is- there is no option of the Raptor Signature Code Orange Interior. Wonder if this is just something Ford is not offering now, but will in the future? It would be quite strange for the Iconic Code Orange not to be offered. I know I associate the Raptor with that look. Has anyone had any luck on being able to order the color or know if it will be an option later??
Last October, Ford Authority reported on the 2022 Ford Bronco residual values for all models in the lineup, though those figures for the all-new 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades and Ford Bronco Raptor were not yet available at the time. Now both of these vehicles have landed on the Bronco’s build and price site, Ford Authority has obtained the lease residual values for the special-edition models, along with updated values for the remainder of the 2022 Bronco lineup, which are good through the end of Q1 2022 for 15,000-mile leases. 24-Month 36-Month 39-Month 48-Month Two-Door Base 70% 65% 64% 60% Big Bend 66% 61% 60% 56% Black Diamond 61% 56% 55% 51% Outer Banks 59% 54% 53% 49% Advanced Base 70% 65% 64% 60%...
The Bronco Raptor is coming out this summer (hopefully) and rumors are that the BR might make an appearance in "Jurassic World Dominion" movie. What we do know is the 2022 special edition Bronco Everglades (pictured above) will be a part of the flick. However, most people (like us) would like to see Ford act more directly based on the Raptor connections being that the main dinosaur characters are Raptors. Hopefully the Bronco Raptor does make an appearance in the movie and if it doesn't, it would be a huge missed opportunity for Ford for advertising. Well, at this point, it is anyone’s guess if the Jurassic franchise producers and Blue Oval head honchos came together for a little product placement. But no worries, there is a...
Ford Motor Company has filed a patent for the Ford Bronco Raptor diecast model, according to Ford Authority. The patent was filed on September 9th, 2020 and published on February 8th, 2022 and assigned serial number USD942897S. What Ford Authority is thinking, a couple of companies (Maisto and Greenlight Collectibles) make and sell Ford Bronco diecast models, so of course, this patent by Ford appears to previews a diecast version of the high-performance Ford Bronco Raptor. The interesting part about this model is that is does not include the spare tire that the Bronco Raptor (and Bronco models have) carries on its tailgate. The smaller, toy version of the Bronco Raptor will also join a number of other recently-released diecasts...
Customers can now start the build for the Bronco Raptor. Ford released this today and future owners can go the site https://shop.ford.com/configure/bronco/model/customize/ and start the process. Getting closer and closer to seeing these beasts on the road. Has anyone started the process yet? If so, let's see the progress!!
