We went by the Shelby center today. I’m sure they or some other performance upfitter will put the V8 in if Ford don’t.

Yeah. Eventually, there will so many regulations on gas guzzlers that the big companies will just stop creating the big engines. Already talk of discounting the Hellcat motor for dodge vehicles.

That is definitely the trend. Regulatory pressure on fuel economy, emissions and legislation passed in many states that almost outlaws ICE vehicles are already changing the landscape.

For instance, Stellantis is dropping the HEMI in favor of a Straight 6 with forced induction. GM & Ford are introducing all new all electric trucks. More and more brands are adopting hybrid or all electric production for economic and regulatory reasons.
