Stock Wheels and Tires of the Bronco Raptor

The BR comes with comes standard with 37-inch BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain tires. They are mounted on a set of standard 17-inch wheels, though two different styles of 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels are also available. Crazy part is the tires are so heavy that Ford had add a reinforcement to the spare-tire carrier!

Have you seen any other wheel options? I really like the one pictured. Was curious what else they're offering.

I was thinking about the weight of that spare while watching the video. That is a heavy sucker to stick on the back of the swing gate, but I guess the engineers have it covered!

Good question. The F150 only has the 2 and I'd would bet they have the same options for the bronco raptor as the bedlocks in that pic look similar to the F150 Raptor bedlocks.

Watched the video from the TRL(I think that's their name) and they mentioned how that tailgate was beefed up for the heavier tire.

Looks like they beefed it up pretty good. Nice to know it can be done on the tailgate.

I thought I read three wheel styles.....fake beadlock, beadlock adaptable and beadlock.......havent seen beadlock adaptable. Other two on 150rap.

Any true beadlock the dealer sells would be beadlock capable, not DOT legal to sell on vehicle with the true beadlock rings installed.

Just read in ...Top Speed article....black painted high gloss (no beadlock) ...cast aluminum low gloss....forged beadlock capable, finished in dark carbonated gray.

If I go with beadlocks it will be Raceline. That is what I have on my Jeep. But for the B Raptor, probably will not need beadlocks. 12 psi is low enough for what I will do with that and I have never had a problem with 12 psi.

I have a set of Icon Rebound Pro's with the innerlock technology awaiting the arrival of my Gen3. They have inner pins that keep the tire from debeading. Looking forward to trying them out. Supposedly can air down very low with no no issues, less weight and maintenance than traditional beadlocks...

Interesting, I will have to look into those. Are they DOT approved? But who would know if you don't have a beadlock ring.

But with the C range tires, you really won't have to air down too low to get sidewall flex.

Yes they are fully DOT approved and require no maintenance.

One of the first things I'm gonna do is replace the lug nuts with 1 piece lugs. My understanding is that these will also be the dreaded 2 piece design that is susceptible to the outer shell swelling and rendering the lug wrench useless. Had it happen on my Fusion and had to rip apart the cover to get to the encased lug - and after that the wrench was too big at that point - absolutely HORRIBLE design and Ford WILL NOT warranty it. My brother just got his 22 Explorer ST and pulled a lug - sure enough 2 piece design. What an abomination.

On that note - anyone know if they will be M14 -1.5 like the F-150 since they are using the hubs and rotors from an F-150 Raptor?

Although the class action lawsuit was dismissed - here is exactly what happened to mine as well. The really shitty part about it was when I brought it to Ford, not only would they not warranty it - they replaced it with the exact same crap that had an issue 1.5 years later. Eventually went with McGard 1 piece.
