I’m new to the Bronco Raptor community but not new to off-road beasts. I was originally on the RaptorForum for my 2011 Ford Raptor, which served me well for years. In 2022, after an 8-month wait, I sold it to upgrade to a 2022 RAM TRX. Absolutely loved that truck—the power, performance, and luxury were next-level… unfortunately, I guess the thieves thought so too because it was stolen right from in front of my house a couple of weeks ago.
Still needing a rugged, durable, and highly off-road-capable vehicle to get to our cabin in West Virginia (which requires tackling a 2-mile trail off the main road—see pics), I started exploring options. I test-drove the Land Rover Defender 110 V8, which was impressive, but the Defender Octa was really what I wanted. However, with a 3 to 6-month wait and a stupid price tag, I decided to pivot.
On a whim, I stopped by my local Ford dealer and ended up driving home in a fully loaded black 2024 Ford Bronco Raptor. Excited to be back in the Ford performance off-road world!
Would love any tips from fellow Bronco Raptor owners on must-have mods, trail setups, accessories, or anything else I should know!
