Had to be fun......expensive, but fun
I always wonder what people are thinking (or not thinking) when they do this stuff?? Do they really think they are going to get away with doing that in the middle of the day and be able to just drive off without getting caught??

Saw a follow-up.
One tunnel was open to the field, he came thru, turfed the field.
Ground crew blocked tunnel w forklift and held for security. Security turned over to cops.
Charged w felony vandalism...expecting large fines, potential jail time.

Deserves everything he gets! Coming from a former sports turf and construction company (Shaggy as well), this is extremely expensive to replace and fix. All the surveying, replacing of material, etc could cause problematic growth for the year. Only good thing is it's Petco Park and they can easily replace it because they have the $ to do it

Well it looks like they didn't have turf down, but the sand was ready for turf. Now of course they had to repair it, but thats alot easier, and cheaper, then repairing turf/sod.
You know the pain it is to relevel areas. Remember when someone drove all through our golf course while running from the highway patrol?

And they spun out the green, which was the worst part.
