My wife and I test drove the BRaptor yesterday evening. It was used, at a Toyota Dealership with 240 miles on it.
It was everything I expected! Extremely capable off road with fantastic road manners. For me, making any changes, other than a winch, is a step in the wrong direction. Mounting and dismounting was much easier than the one we checked out the other day than how been re-shod with 40’s.
We compared it to the 4Runner TRD PRO(my wife said I was stuck on Fords and not giving fair consideration to other brands). I have to admit I was pretty impressed with the Toyota, but it compares with a lesser Bronco. No contest when galloping with the Raptor!
Noise while driving was about the same. Not bad at all. We could easily converse with the salesperson saddled in the rear. The Braptor was in normal exhaust, not quiet.
The one we drove is identical to steed we ordered except it has code orange seat belts. We really wanted to bridle her up and take it home but decided for $30,000, we would just continue to be patient. But if you’re ready to pony up, see Mary Johnson at Beaver Toyota in Cumming Georgia. It’s listed at $110k. Code Orange, MGV, Lux, keyless pad

Great post. It was good that you were able to drive it to see if it was right for you and your wife. Definitely hard for a lot of people to justify or afford that price, but everyone that has purchased one has not regretted it at all. Hope you are able to get into one soon. I’m
sure you are more anxious to get a BRap after that!

We bought a Ranger Tremor to use while we’re waiting on Ford to get parts together to build our Bronco. We’ve enjoyed it but we have trips planned that are a little extreme for the truck.

Ha! She recognized the 4Runner wasn’t going to provide the views or the versatility we want. But it’ll be by accident if we jump anything. We have done plenty of unintentional things though!
