Interesting. I'd tend to agree to some extent, but since I wasn't really paying attention between the 3 I've driven I can't say one way or another if I experienced the same thing.
Wind noise is noticeable, but bearable. I will say that when you put the KC light bar on the truck it does make it significantly more noisy. Looks really cool, but you hear it when going down the freeway.
I haven't inspected them closely, but I'd assume they just pop out. Might have to take out the fender well liner to get to the back of them to release some sort of tab.
