When radio reception was bad I could still listen to the fuel sloshing around in the fuel tank behind the seat. The vinyl bench seat was not the most comfortable but my young wife could slide right next to me. Seat belts didn’t get in way because they were on the floor board underneath the seat. The carburetor had to be constantly worked on but hey, I didn’t have worry about emissions.  I do like the old stuff a lot. But regulations don’t allow vehicles to be built that way anymore. And really, none of us would be on this site if we didn’t like the power, performance and capability that current technology allows.</blockquote>
