After some “hard” surface street driving, I have to agree with you. Weird but oddly capable set up. Feels like a late 80s lincoln boat when driving down the road, lots of “float”. Then you carry speed into a corner and it bites down hard and you can get on the gas fast coming out of it…. I always loved that about my Raptor truck. Ford perfected it in the BRaptor. As for the G63. That was my attempt at balance in my marriage. Wife got her dream ride, i get to scratch my Raptor itch… That vehicle is in a class all of its own. Hard to make comparisons. MB has been patiently tweaking that set up for 30+ years. Everything is well thought out (except the stupid NON-Touch touch screen🤬). Plus a twin turbo (w/anti-lag) 4.0L V8 is one of the coolest engines I have ever driven. Doing a 4 second 0-60 in a 6000lbs SUV is a trip…. The ride is is stiffer than Braptor. But that would be expected. The AMG set up has these cars running on a rail, it’s stiff but super responsive with just the right amount of over steer…
