Overall, I think Ford did a great job filling a niche and creating an awesome “swiss army knife”. The Braptor is very close performance wise to an F150 Raptor in the desert. The shocks seem to be tuned or setup way better than the Gen3 shocks. I very much dislike the shocks on the Gen3. They have no rebound control and often lead the front suspension unloading. I often think I’ve hit something but it’s just the shock unloading creating a “boing sound” lol. The Braptor shocks don’t do that and are much better overall. I’m sure the lighter curb weight with the same size shock helps too. It can do almost everything just as well but whoops. Due to the shorter wheel base, it has a harder time staying on top of whoops. Other than that, it feels pretty stable at high speeds. I did prefer to run it in 4wd as the rear wants to slide out a lot more than a F150 Raptor and once it does, it takes more work to keep it in control. The Braptor isn’t as forgiving of mistakes as the F150 Raptor. That’s not to say it’s not amazing but there is a difference. However, I will have no problem bringing this on our Raptor runs. It does just as well as a stock raptor other than successive whoops. It also is better for more technical trails and is more nimble. It feels about as fast as the Gen3. The 3.0 makes less power but I’m guessing the power to weight ratio is about equal with the Gen3. Far easier to park around town. Cab noise is louder but not bad with the hard top. Basically all the things a regular Bronco does. Those are my initial thoughts and I’m sure I’ve forgot a few details. Working on a youtube review…hopefully have that in a few weeks.</blockquote>
