I just built a bronco raptor on ford.com and got a call from the local dealer and they said the order banks aren't open yet. Only for people with existing orders can convert their order to a raptor. Is that correct?
Unfortunately, yes. Lot of Golden Ticket Holders (thats the people with the existing orders) are given the option to start building their Raptors. Only problem a majority of customers is the dealerships are marking them up quite a bit. Anywhere from 15k up to 40k over sticker price!I just built a bronco raptor on ford.com and got a call from the local dealer and they said the order banks aren't open yet. The ordering process is going on, at least in some parts of the country. My dealer was allocated 3 Bronco Raptors and is accepting builds. I guess you could say that I have a "Golden Ticket" as my initial reservation went in on July 14 of 2020. I was ready to build and order, but unfortunately, my dealer said that they would not consider any offer under $125,000. I am sure there are people in the world that do not think that is a very big number, but I don't know any of them. So order number is meaningless. My Bronco Raptor goes on the general market for $125,000+, and anyone can buy it regardless of having any reservation. I guess I'll just wait a few more years and the price will go down when internal combustion engines are obsolete.I just built a bronco raptor on ford.com and got a call from the local dealer and they said the order banks aren't open yet. It's a ridiculous amount for a Bronco Raptor, anyone who actually pays that are just insane. Not a matter of if that is a big number or not, it's relative to what you are buying. it's simply a ridiculous number for a Bronco period. I doubt any idiot will pay that outside of serial number 1 on Barret Jackson...The ordering process is going on, at least in some parts of the country. Usually that happens right away if you have a reservation allocation (golden ticket), if it's a dealer allocation they may have put the order in for their own stock to sell to you, then you might not get a confirmation in your name.has anyone's order been submitted and confirmed through Ford's "Customer Order Verification Program?"

Says the "honest" dealer.Found out today that is what's happening with my order. Dealer put it in under themselves and it will be mine when it comes in. So I wont get an confirmation email. It stinks as I wont get updated like most but atleast my order is in.
That’s the email my dealer forwarded me from Ford. I also signed a purchase order when I ordered it at the dealer.
Once you have a VIN you can call Ford Performance for status updates directly. I did that for months on my 22' F150 RaptorSo they are doing the same thing to you as my dealer is. I trust he is telling me the truth as he's a good friend of mine. He told me that they stopped allowing the customers email to be inputted in due to the fact that Ford emails out updates, then always back tracks what they say and pisses off the customer. So to avoid any of that, the take all emails, and then update the costumer.
