I saw a really nice looking first gen yesterday. I don't think it's seen dirt since it's restomod was done though. :D
It’s crazy what those are being sold for right now. The Bronco is making huge splash in the market. No matter what year they are

i had a ragged out used 86' Bronco when I was in the Air Force in Washington State, bought it just for off roading. Had a blast with it. Paid $1400 bucks for it and it pulled out many brand new $20K+ trucks out of mud holes back then :p. Boy if we could only get a new truck for $20k today...

I smiled when I read $20k trucks. It's now 4 times that. They built them tough and soild back then. Amazing most where all metal and steel and we have alot of plastic on your new rides today, and yet they are again, 4 times more expensive. Go figure.

Was thinking the same thing on both of your comments before finishing the entire post. Funny how we all think the same thing and say "the good ole days!" Unfortunately, I say this way too often these past few years

Loved my 67 Ford 100 pickup. It got about 10 miles to the gallon. One speaker on the dash for AM radio. When radio reception was bad I could still listen to the fuel sloshing around in the fuel tank behind the seat. The vinyl bench seat was not the most comfortable but my young wife could slide right next to me. Seat belts didn’t get in way because they were on the floor board underneath the seat. The carburetor had to be constantly worked on but hey, I didn’t have worry about emissions.
I do like the old stuff a lot. But regulations don’t allow vehicles to be built that way anymore. And really, none of us would be on this site if we didn’t like the power, performance and capability that current technology allows.

I found some photos in a box. Several of my old mustangs and cougars… and the 89 Bronco…

Wanted to see how many of us are currently Ford Bronco people past or present?

We had a Gen 3 growing up. Don't remember the actual year of it, but is was in the 80's. Absolutely loved it but our dad traded it in for a
F-150 because he needed a truck for his work. Unfortunately, when that happened we became a Astro mini van family :eek:

I have a 2022 Basquatch. Here's a picture of my 84 that I wrench on:
IMG_8220.jpg

Those are forged Bronco Raptor wheels by the way. Has a 460 out of a 69 Continental, axles and transfer case out of a 79 F150 and a ZF5 out of a 97 F350. Seats are 87 Mustang GT. It's about 7% Bronco by weight hahaha.
